Dubai to reward residents for guest invites

Dubai residents can unlock travel benefits worth more than Dh3,000 by inviting family members and friends from overseas under a new tourism programme launched by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET).

The “A Dubai Invite” initiative allows UAE residents and citizens to receive rewards including hotel stays, dining offers, attraction tickets and lifestyle deals when their nominated guests visit Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026.

The programme aims to encourage residents to promote Dubai as a destination among their personal networks while offering them rewards linked to the city’s hospitality and tourism sectors.

How residents can participate Eligible residents must register details of their visiting guests through the programme’s online nomination form before their arrival in Dubai.

Residents can nominate up to five visitors at a time, with additional nominations allowed through separate submissions.

Once the guests arrive, their entry will be verified automatically, after which residents will receive an email with details on how to claim the reward package.

The benefits will remain valid until December 31, 2026, unless mentioned otherwise.

Eligibility and reward details The programme is open to UAE citizens and residents aged 18 years or above who hold a valid Emirates ID.

The invited guests must be non-UAE residents travelling on a valid tourist visa or eligible for visa on arrival.

Visitors arriving in Dubai by air, sea or road between July 20 and October 31, 2026, are eligible under the initiative.

However, the programme does not include visa arrangements, and visitors must obtain necessary visas separately.

Each eligible nomination can unlock rewards valued at more than Dh3,000.

The package includes offers from hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions and lifestyle service providers.

Participating brands include W Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, Meliá Desert Palm, IHG Hotels & Resorts, Careem and Hala.

A resident can receive a maximum of three reward packages during the campaign.

Each visitor can be nominated only once, and duplicate nominations will not qualify.
