Lee Chang-dong Becomes first Korean to Win TIFF Ebert Director Award

Visionary filmmaker Lee Chang-dong has become the first Korean to win the TIFF Ebert Director Award at the Toronto International Film Festival(TIFF).

Netflix announced Thursday that Lee will receive the prize during the festival at the eighth annual TIFF Tribute Awards gala on September 13.
