Ecozones netted P11.2-B investments in July

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (Peza) approved 17 new projects worth P11.21 billion in July, led by export manufacturing ventures expected to generate billions of pesos in exports and thousands of jobs. Although July approvals fell from P18.59 billion in June, Peza’s approved investments in the first seven months of 2026 surged 66.99 percent to P151.9 billion from P90.96 billion a year earlier.
