Hengqin earmarks land for Macau public university project

Hengqin authorities have announced plans to allocate nearly 460,000 square meters of land for the construction of an international comprehensive public university recognized by the Macau SAR government. Located near Huandao West Road, the site comprises five plots. The university is expected to offer interdisciplinary programs in areas including smart healthcare, tourism and hospitality, international exhibitions, and digital studies, with student enrollment projected to reach 10,000 in phases. The public notice will remain open until August 21.
