[Correspondence] Pandora's box: why context is key in inequalities research

During clinical work and research, we ask about the intricacies of the lives of others, narratives which they have often not shared with friends, colleagues, and neighbours.

We ask not out of curiosity but to work towards tangible benefits, whether for the patient directly or for others in future.
