Magnitude 4.3 earthquake shakes Quezon island town

LUCENA CITY — A magnitude 4.3 earthquake struck the island municipality of Burdeos in Quezon province on Thursday afternoon (July 30), the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

Phivolcs said the tectonic earthquake occurred at 4:04 p.m., with its epicenter located about 45 kilometers northeast of Burdeos.
