51 OFWs, 23 dependents repatriated from Dubai

MANILA, Philippines — Fifty-one overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and 23 dependents have returned to the Philippines from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (Owwa) said Sunday. According to Owwa, the repatriates landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 on the evening of June 25. “The repatriated OFWs were brought home due to various personal and employment-related concerns that required immediate government intervention and assistance,” Owwa said in a statement.
