Renewables: it’s worse than you thought

The Porth Wen Solar Farm, which had only been commissioned earlier this year, is owned by EDF Renewables and has a capacity to generate power for 9,500 households.

Storm Darragh was the fourth named storm of the season, bringing high winds and heavy rain to Wales and other parts of the UK over the weekend.

Two people were killed by falling trees, while thousands of others were affected by power outages.
