Man beats ex-girlfriend to death because ‘she didn’t look sorry’ after breakup

A 24-year-old man accused of killing his former girlfriend admitted to the charges at the first hearing of his trial at the Seoul Eastern District Court on Wednesday.

The defendant also asked the court to reject the prosecution’s request to order him to wear an electronic monitoring anklet and place him under probation, arguing that he poses little risk of reoffending.
