Factory fire claims five lives

Police have launched an investigation into an incident where a fire claimed five lives at a helmet manufacturing factory in the Katuwana Industrial Zone, in Homagama.

The fire erupted at around 9:45 a.m. yesterday (21) and subsequently spread throughout the three-storey building.
