Middle East live: US air strikes on Iran's Qeshm island kill three people

A US attack killed three people, including a two-year-old child, on Iran's Qeshm island, the Fars news agency reported on Thursday after the US military said it wrapped up a heavy wave of strikes.

The US military said the strikes were retaliation for Iranian attacks targeting US military bases in Jordan.
