'Alvin and the Chipmunks' set for major reboot aimed at digital-first generation

Everyone’s favorite little trio is back… but as influencers? Alvin, Simone, and Theodore are making a new reboot comeback after more than a decade of being away from the theaters. However, it’s not what the fans are expected to see. According to the exclusive report by The Wall Street Journal, Big Shot Pictures, the family-entertainment company led by former Paramount co-Chief Executive Brian Robbins, has taken a 25% stake in the ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks’ franchise.
