PBA: Juami Tiongson, Terrafirma regain confidence with OT win

ANTIPOLO—Juami Tiongson is delighted that Terrafirma was able to finally end a string of heartbreaking defeats with an escape act to beat TNT in overtime of Saturday’s  2026 PBA Governors’ Cup nightcap here. The Dyip arrested a three-game skid with a 111-106 overtime victory, with Tiongson knocking down back-to-back threes during a stretch of four consecutive makes from the nearest arc to prevent the Tropang 5G from completing their comeback. “Credit to my teammates because of the trust they gave me, whether I make mistakes or miss my shots,” Tiongson said after finishing with 23 points spiked by five three-pointers.
