Iran media: Blasts in Khorramabad, US assets in Bahrain struck

Iranian media have reported that US missile strikes launched from Kuwait caused explosions in the city of Khorramabad in Lorestan province. Here are some other developments on Saturday:

'Bahrain targets hit': According to an Iranian military statement reported by the Tasnim news agency, Iranian missiles targeted US military assets and fuel tanks at the Sheikh Isa airbase and several communication bridges in Bahrain.

The statement said the US had used the base to launch “operations against regional targets, especially our country”.

Bahrain activated warning sirens for the fourth time, and the country’s Ministry of Interior told people to “remain calm and head to the nearest safe place”.

'Jask and Bandar Abbas struck': Tasnim news agency reported that US strikes hit a location in Jask and two bridges along the vital Bandar Abbas-Rudan transportation route sustained heavy damage. 

'Kuwait responding to attacks': The Kuwait army said it was responding to Iranian missile and drone attacks for the third time and urged the people to “adhere to the authorities’ safety and security instructions”. ...
