2-month probe, 3-month trial: Govt proposes sweeping changes to anti-cheating law

Under the proposed Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, investigations into offences under the Act will have to be completed within two months.
The Bill empowers the Central Government to constitute a special fast track courts, wherever necessary, for investigation of offences under the Act.
