Over 5,600 police officers get promotions

MANILA, Philippines — A total of 5,602 police officers nationwide were promoted by the Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday.

There were 1,877 commissioned officers and 3,725 non-commissioned officers promoted in several ceremonies across all police regional offices, according to data shared by the PNP.
