That the inclusion $Q(F_3(X))\subseteq \mathsf{Pa}^-_3$ is proper and Mod$(\mathbf{qb}_3)$ is not generated by free $p$-algebras is proved, answering two open questions from Kowalski-Słomczyńska \cite{KowSlom}.
