Authorities fine two firms for consumer protection violations

KATHMANDU: The Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection has fined two firms after finding irregularities during market inspections.

Kisu Chamenagriha was fined Rs.

20,000 for failing to maintain purchase invoices as required under Section 15 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2075 (2018).

The penalty was imposed under Section 38(d) of the same Act.
