Monkey disrupts MTR services for a second day

Train services on Tsuen Wan Line were disrupted for about an hour due to a monkey entering tracks at Tsuen Wan station on Friday.

Police received reports of the sighting of a monkey at the station at about 9 am.

Officers arrived at the scene along with staff from the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department.

The monkey was taken away from the scene at around 10am and train services gradually resumed normal.

A similar incident happened a day before on Kwun Tong Line, causing trains to run at a slower speed when approaching Kowloon Bay station.
