Swedish Viking ship damaged during production of The Odyssey

A Swedish viking association that rented out its replica viking ship to the production of the Hollywood blockbuster the Odyssey, says the ship was returned damaged, and the film company still hasn't compensated them for it.

The viking ship Glad av Gillberga, belonging to the association Vikingaleden in Värmland in central Sweden, is featured in the film, based on the ancient Greek epic poem by Homer.

Peter Olausson, chairman of Vikingaleden, the association that built the viking ship, tells newspaper Dagens Nyheter that they are still waiting for financial compensation from the film company. ...
