Tehran says talks held between Iranian and Omani deputy foreign ministers over the management of Hormuz have made progress.

The statement comes as US Central Command said it disabled two ships and redirected 12 others as it continued to enforce the naval blockade of Iran.

Israel, meanwhile, marked houses of Palestinians for demolition after a settler raid in Nablus resulted in the killing of four Palestinians and two soldiers on Friday.

The move comes amid a surge in attacks by settlers, who torched two mosques in the occupied West Bank and destroyed heavy equipment at a quarry.

•    Iran summoned Ukraine’s diplomats after Kyiv bombed an Iranian ship in the Caspian Sea, killing at least one sailor and wounding another.

•  Kuwait's foreign ministry has condemned the Houthis' attacks on ships in the Red Sea, describing Saturday's strike on the Saudi vessel NCC MASA as a “flagrant violation of international law”. 

•    The United States welcomes the new Venezuelan government's partnership on American-led efforts to dismantle the “corrupt and worthless ICC”, the US State Department said. 

•    UN chief Antonio Guterres has said that violations of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity are “unacceptable and must cease”. 

•    Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has warned that any nation, "including Britain or Persian Gulf states, offering support to the United States in the conflict would be considered a legitimate target”.

•    Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has announced plans to build 763 new housing units in the illegal Eli settlement south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. ...
