OpenAI submits confidential filing for market launch with US authorities

The maker of ChatGPT, OpenAI, has kicked off the process of selling its shares on public markets by submitting a confidential filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission on Monday.

The AI startup is looking to capitalise on its dominant position on the AI chatbot market in order to boost its financing needs.
