Proposed Legal Changes to Allow Single Fathers to Register Births

The government is moving to revise laws so a father can register the birth of a child born outside marriage.

The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family addressed the matter in a basic plan for healthy families, finalized Tuesday following Cabinet deliberations.
